Heading up this release is something we’re very happy to share: Gander is now available in French. There’s also a nice little mix of fun stuff, navigation improvements, and practical cleanup.

French UI Support
Gander now supports fr-CA in the app interface. Another important step toward making Gander feel more like home for more people.

You can now paste a GIF into Gander and post it as a GIF. Your reaction folder may finally have its moment. We know there are some goose GIFs in there.

Discovery Cards
You’ll see discovery cards here and there around Gander now. They’re there to highlight topics, convos, and feeds. Plus, they’ll make it a bit easier to navigate.

SMS Sign Up and Log In
You can now sign up with just your phone number. If you like, email still works if you prefer. Your choice as always.

Flicks Improvements
Flicks should feel smoother in this release. Less stutter, more watching.

Feeds should load more consistently now. Less refreshing, less waiting, less wondering if the app wandered off to make a coffee.
