Thanks to everyone on Gander taking the time to submit bug reports when something goes awry.
Below, you’ll find the list of bugs that we’re aware of and are able to reproduce.
Please have a… well … lowercase gander before submitting a bug report
1. Home
Feed refresh
The feed can jump or refresh suddenly.
Default tab not saved
The app doesn’t remember your preferred feed when you reopen it.
Feed Follow does not work
Tapping follow on avatar does nothing.
Double post
The post appears twice on the feed.
2. App
App version
The version in the app Settings>About is different than the App Store Version.
App open cuts music
Media stops playing on app open.
3. Post
Unnecessary links added
Adding a period between the words without spaces triggers an unintended hyperlink.
ALT text
Cursor jumps when ALT text is pasted.
4. Signup
Delay in OTPs
The login code can take a while to arrive… but it does show up.
Pasting OTPs doesn’t work
Can’t move ahead after pasting OTPs.
OTP countdown pauses
The OTP countdown pauses when the app is switched.
5. Moderation
Engagement count from blocked accounts
Count of likes and comments from a blocked account are visible.
6. Profile
City field can’t be left empty
You have to enter a city right now, even if you’d rather not.
7. Chat
Chat date doesn’t update
Message dates don’t always update as the conversation continues.
